BEHIND THE LENS

While a professional opera singer for the past 40 plus years working at the Metropolitan and most other major US opera companies. I often had a camera near at hand. I now concentrate equally on music and photography.

My subject matter is far ranging, including backstage theater photography, museum, architecture, landscape and portraiture work in addition to recording the simply "curious." While I primarily shoot in black and white, digital photography has opened satisfying color possibilities for me.

A native New Yorker and graduate of Middlebury College, I presently live wtih my wife in Englewood, New Jersey
